Mini Hamburgers

I seem to be interested in all things mini at the moment, so I decided to make some mini hamburgers or sliders. These were well received by my family and let's face it, many of are trying to cut back, so why not try something in miniature?

I started off by making homemade hamburger buns, something I have never done before. I'm pretty sure that president's choice has come out with a mini hamburger bun, which is a much easier choice.

One tip I have for making the burgers as thin as possible is to put the meat in between two pieces of saran wrap and push down gently.

Making your own french fries is delicious and easy. I cut up russet potatoes and toss with olive oil, seasoning salt and pepper and roast them in the oven at 425 f. for aproximately 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Be sure to turn them over once or twice.
