At the end of a party at our house last week, I realized I had made too much coffee. Not wanting to throw it away, I froze it in ice cube trays, with the thought that I would make some iced cappuccinos.
Here is the bag of coffee cubes - and this is the trick to making the cappuccino nice and thick
Using my Magic Bullet, I made one cappuccino at a time, placing 1/4 cup light cream, 1/2 cup 1% milk, 8-10 coffee cubes (depending on the size of your coffee cubes) and 2 Tb. chocolate syrup into the cup.
It smells good already!
Whirl until smooth. You can taste it and adjust the chocolate or add something you enjoy: caramel syrup, cinnamon, chocolate chips, etc.
I have made these twice over the last couple of days and my daughter Sarah has been enjoying them too. I used de-caf coffee which means we can have these whenever we like.
Enjoy!
