Banana, Berry, and Oatmeal Smoothie

 Yesterday I picked up some vanilla flavored almond milk from Costco and then today I gave the recipe on the back of the package a try.  The vanilla flavored almond milk has the same calorie count as regular unsweetened almond milk (35 calories for 1 cup), and is also unsweetened.  This recipe was quick to make and tasted good.
 
 Into your blender (magic bullet, ninja, etc.), add 1 cup vanilla flavored almond milk and 1/2 cup oatmeal (the recipe called for quick oats, but I used regular as they are less processed).  At this point, I left this to sit for about 10 minutes, but it wasn't necessary.  Add 1/2 banana and 1/2 cup frozen berries.  Process or blend until desired consistency.

 Variations:  You could add cinnamon, more vanilla, coconut, and/or 1 Tb. chia seeds

This was tasty and I will definitely be making it again.
