We've just had our second snowfall of the year, so it seems fitting for a post about soups. For me, soups are a must for fall, and they definitely fit my description of a comfort food. Soups can be made ahead of time and get better the next day. Many can be made in the slow-cooker so you can come home to a warm cup of goodness. I hope you can find a new soup to try and enjoy.
Harvest Corn Chowder is versatile soup that you can make in the slow-cooker, on the stove, or even in the instant pot. You can freeze this after making it or freeze the ingredients to make later.
Broccoli Bacon Soup is one that I modeled after a delicious soup I had at Kelly O'Bryans.
Black Bean Soup is super easy to make. It is vegetarian, as long as you use vegetable stock. You can make it a bit more fancy by adding more toppings.
Tortilla Soup is delicious too. Remember that you can serve soups for company. Homemade soups are a novelty for some and people appreciate the effort you have taken.
Pumpkin Soup is a definite favorite of ours.
Curried Butternut Squash Soup is tasty, too!
Easy Italian Soup is a good one, too :)
