Big Bobs


When I was a kid, my Dad used to make us "Big Bobs" and boy, did we love them. These tasty sandwiches consist of bread, mayonnaise, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper, tomatoes and lettuce, and with the abundance of fresh tomatoes right now, this is the time for Big Bobs.  For any of you who are avoiding wheat and/or gluten, you make these delicious sandwiches with gluten-free bread, which I did this weekend.  They were delicious!


I like to toast my bread, but do whatever is your preference. Spread mayonnaise on one side. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Add sliced tomatoes and lettuce. Cut in half and enjoy!

I've got a friend who adds fresh basil to her tomato sandwiches and she says they are amazing!
